Hyper-Converged Infrastructure

Hyper-Converged Infrastructure

Hyper-Converged infrastructure (HCI) was invented in 2009 to remove the complexities in deploying, managing and maintaining server and storage infrastructure. HCI combines commodity data centre servers with locally attached storage that is fully managed by software to provide customers with a Software Defined Data Centre Platform. The benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Ease of Management

  • Limitless Scalability

  • Increased Performance

  • Lower Total Cost of Ownership

How Does HCI Work?

Hyper-Converged Infrastructure works by removing the complexities within the data centre stack by converging all roles into commodity server hardware.

HCI Software includes its own hyper visor, distributed storage fabric, automation and a centralised management platform.

The end result is that it eliminates all the management overhead and complexities associated with private cloud infrastructure by providing a public cloud experience in a private cloud environment.

Why Think Solutions?

Think Solutions have been pioneers in deploying HCI solutions to customers within Australia. Having adopted HCI over 10 years ago, we pride ourselves on the benefits our customers have obtained from deploying scalable, easy to manage and redundant infrastructure.

We have the experience and the know how to deploy solutions based on any hardware vendor on any hyper visor. All HCI solutions will be deployed at a fixed cost that is based on a detailed scope of work. We back ourselves to get it right the first time.

Additionally, we offer a range of Managed Services solutions to manage and maintain your HCI solution post implementation if you did not want to manage it yourself.
